NEW CLUB "HO" scale LAYOUT
June 26, 2015 Several members of the Florida Citrus Model Train Society visited the Joe Pisciotti workshop to start work on the "New" Club HO Layout. Those members participating were: Joe Pisciotti, Joe Parisini, Lenny Victor, Nick Mekich, Ken Sargeant, David Mikelson, Kieve Ehrlich, Colleen Daglia. Twelve table tops were completed, glued, nailed, legs cut and drilled for height adjustment. Thanks to Joe Pisciotti for allowing us to use his workshop. Work will continue and times and dates will be discussed during our Breakfast Business meetings.

July 3, 2015 The members of the Florida Citrus Model Train Society that worked on our "New" Club HO Layout today were: Joe Pisciotti, Joe Parisini, Lenny Victor, Ken Sargeant, Gary Hendrickson, Kevin Walford, Jason Ramsey, Joe Motes. Twelve table tops were sanded, corners glued, screws installed and legs fitted to the correct height. It was a long hot Summer day but enjoyable.

November 8, 2018 (L-R) Peter Colussy, Ken Sargeant. Peter Colussy Built a Post War Marx Commodore Vanderbilt Steam Locomotive with a Wedge Tender built between 1945 - 48. Orginally built as a mechanical wind up engine which has been converted to an electric double reduction gear motor for this project. Oh Lord, now that I have flagged Thee, lift up my feet from the rough road of life and plant them safely on the deck of the train of salvation. Let me use the safety on the deck of the train of salvation. Let me see the safety lamp know as prudence, join all the couplings in the train with the strong arm of love, let my hand lamp be the Bible. Heavenly Father, keep all the switches closed that lead off to the sidings, especially those with the blind end. Oh Lord, if it be Thy pleasure, have semaphore block along the line show the white light of hope that I may make the run of life without stopping. And Lord, give us the Ten Commandments for a schedule and when I've finish on scheduled time and pulled into the dark station of death, may the superintendent of the Universe say, "Well done thou good and faithful servant, come and sign the payroll and receive the check of eternal hapiness."

The Museum Of Discovery & Science, the AUTONATION IMAX THEATER and the Florida Citrus Model Train Society presented a "G" Scale Model Train Layout in the Main Lobby and an "O" Scale Layout on the second floor at the Museum from August 24, 2013 to February 24, 2014. Over 74,497 visitors attended with 36 members of the Florida Citrus Train Society volunteering 1,270 days working 5,200 hours. Thank you for the fine opportunity to display our trains.
