Saturday, February 23, 2019 (L-R) Saralyn Sargeant, Chris Twiss, Ken Sargeant. Saralyn and I met Chris Twiss at the Florida Citrus Model Train Society, Train Show & Swap Meet today. We have not seen him for years. Chris was "Best Friends" with our son "Ricky" when they were students at Hollywood Hills Elementary, Olsen Middle and South Broward High School. They played football and baseball for years growing up in little league and high school. Chris was like another son to our family. It was "Super" visiting with him today. I got Ricky on the phone with Chris and they talked. Ricky was at a baseball tournament with his son Drew in Jacksonville.

The Florida Citrus Model Train Society Toy Train & Swap Meet will be Saturday, FEBRUARY 23, 2019 at the City of Pembroke Pines Charter School - Central Campus, located at 12350 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines, FL 33026. The Hours will be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and setup time for vendors will be from 7:30 AM until the show opens at 9:00 AM.
Visit our Website at www.fcmts.org it is updated daily. We have been handing out information at our Model Train Displays all over South Florida. The "Westfield Broward Mall" (35,584 attended) and "The Southwest Regional Library" which just ended January 10, 2019 (4,859 attended).
Train notices are at the local Train Stores and information placed on websites in the South Florida Market Area that attracts people to our Display activities.

November 8, 2018 (L-R) Peter Colussy, Ken Sargeant. Peter Colussy Built a Post War Marx Commodore Vanderbilt Steam Locomotive with a Wedge Tender built between 1945 - 48. Orginally built as a mechanical wind up engine which has been converted to an electric double reduction gear motor for this project. Oh Lord, now that I have flagged Thee, lift up my feet from the rough road of life and plant them safely on the deck of the train of salvation. The Museum Of Discovery & Science, the AUTONATION IMAX THEATER and the Florida Citrus Model Train Society presented a "G" Scale Model Train Layout in the Main Lobby and an "O" Scale Layout on the second floor at the Museum from August 24, 2013 to February 24, 2014.
