October 3, 2015 Florida Citrus Model Train Society member Kevin Patterson leads Scout Troup 636 Honor Guard during the Grand Opening Ceremony at the Toy Train Show at Pembroke Pines Charter School - Central Campus. The Scouts presented the Colors and led with the "Pledge of Alligence" then the Band Members on stage played the National Anthem.

I have been all over the United States and Canada attending Model Train Conventions, visiting homes, museums and this is the “MOST FANTASTIC LAYOUT" I have ever seen

June 8 - 12, 2015 Ken Sargeant giving Operation LifeSaver presentations to Summer Campers at the Old Davie School Historical Museum. The Florida Citrus Model Train Society members assisted by giving out materials and running "O" Scale Trains before and after the presentations. Summer camps that participated were: ABC's of Learning Pembroke Pines, Pembroke Pines, ABC's of Learning Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale, Education Station, Lighthouse Point, Kindercare Miami Lakes, Miami Lakes, Children's Workshop South, Fort Lauderdale, Calvary Kids, Hollywood, The Learning Center, Sunrise, Children's World Margate, Margate, Pacesetter Academy, Miramar, Early Learning Academy of Pembroke Pines, Pembroke Pines. Walk-in, Davie, Jule's Tiny Treasures, Dania Beach, Tanglewood Academy, Pembroke Pines, ABC Workship Coral Srings, Coral Springs, Rock Creek Academy, Cooper City, Kids in Motion, Coral Springs, Kindercare Pembroke Pines, Pembroke Pines, North West Summer Camp, Miami, Davie Christian Academy, Davie, St. Bonaventure Summer Camp, Davie, Whiz Kids South, Lantana, My First Years Preschool, Davie, Kindercare Miami, Miami, Youthland Academy Sunny Seeds, Davie, Chesterbrook Academy, Sunrise, Oakland Academy, Sunrise, Chesterbrook Academy, Pembroke Pines, Hi Tch Kidz Kollege, Pompano Beach, Young Minds Learning Center, Coconut Creek.

January 2, 2016 Several visitors and guests standing outside the Multipurpose Room at the Southwest Regional Library. This was the Last Day of participaton at the Library for our Christmas Holiday Season Model Train Display. We set a new record of 714 guests during our Final Day. The past twenty four days we had a total of 8,008 visitors to view the Florida Citrus Model Train Society Display. We had 46 members attend 368 times providing 1,452 Community Service Hours. Notice the youngsters dressed in engineer and conductor costumes. The adults were dressed in attire representing the "G" Scale Layout which featured a fictitious Florida town called "Seminole Creek" at the turn of the century representing the late 1800's to the low 1900's. The adults were dressed as Tourists, Conductors, Engineers, Firemen, Doctor, Banker, Sheriff, Telegraph Operator, etc. Operation LifeSaver Safety Program was presented and handouts given to the participants.
