feeney's follies

THE FLORIDA CITRUS MODEL TRAIN SOCIETY presents feeney's follies

John Feeney is the Curator of the Plantation Historical Museum in Plantation, Florida. This was John Feeney's idea. In Feeney's Follies, John, his wife Cathy, and son Robert wear costumes that relate to events at the Plantation Historical Museum. In this case they dressed to represent activities on the "G" Scale Layout which was provided by the Florida Citrus Model Train Society on their 2014 Visit. The first picture is John Feeney as the "Station Master". This process continued with our appearance at The Southwest Regional Library in 2015 - 2016 stay.

On occasion the Feeney's Follies will have Special Suprise Guests.

It all started with John Feeney as Deputy Dawg and Ken Sargeant as the Sheriff.

Some of these guest "Stars" are listed in order of their appearance.

Ken Sargeant, Fran Koerner, Bill Tessar, Tom Rottenberg, Joe Parisini, Joe Motes, Bob Balog, Mike Collins, Susan Compton, Paul Gehring, Frank Atanasio, John Michna, Rick Compton, David Mikelson, Ed Keisch, Saralyn Sargeant, Steven Kneuer. More FCMTS members are taking part dressing up each day. Hope you enjoy this presentation. We had a blast doing it.

RAILROAD PRAYER

Oh Lord, now that I have flagged Thee, lift up my feet from the rough road of life and plant them safely on the deck of the train of salvation. Let me use the safety on the deck of the train of salvation. Let me see the safety lamp know as prudence, join all the couplings in the train with the strong arm of love, let my hand lamp be the Bible. Heavenly Father, keep all the switches closed that lead off to the sidings, especially those with the blind end. Oh Lord, if it be Thy pleasure, have semaphore block along the line show the white light of hope that I may make the run of life without stopping. And Lord, give us the Ten Commandments for a schedule and when I've finish on scheduled time and pulled into the dark station of death, may the superintendent of the Universe say, "Well done thou good and faithful servant, come and sign the payroll and receive the check of eternal hapiness."
